Naked bicyclist!!!!!

I went to the Freemont Solstice Fair here in Seattle. This event is a mix of Mardi Gra, Conservationist and nudist all rolled into one.

The bus I decided to take to the event was about 45 minutes late. So I arrived five minutes before the parade started. I looked for the people I was to meet there but there was just too many people lined up waiting for the parade to start and I couldn't find them. I was lucky enough to find a curb to sit on and sat down to watch the parade.

The bicyclist came first, all shapes ,sizes, and ages in all manner of dress and undress. But mostly undress. I wondered just how uncomfortable it might be to ride a bike sans clothing. Especially those who have dangly parts! However they all looked to be having a glorious time riding around in the nude and lucky for them it was a sunny day.

Then came the Mardi Gra type floats, along with costumed people. It seemed some of the participants were working on themes. Some I could figure out and some were a little bit more ambiguious.

I enjoyed the whole two hour parade and went away trying to figure out how I could be in next years parade. However it won't be riding a bike nude, I'll pass on that!
