flame on! cedarflame!~lol

Yesterday as a housewarming gift Cedarflame gifted me with a barbecue. We went to lunch and she said go get one. Now she was thinking of one like hers. It folds up and rolls around, lol but not when lit!

So off I went looking. Now the one she bought must have been on sale cuz as I looked I couldn't find one like hers at a reasonable price. Hers was already put together and so she thought that would be a easy one for me to get, no assembly needed. But I hate spending someone else's money even if it is a gift and so I went off looking for a better deal. (I hear you mumbling Cedarflame....mumble....damn femme...mumble...can't just get the easiest one....mumble).

So I found a nice one for less and bought it. However it had to be assembled and I had invited Cedarflame over for a steak barbecue and I hadn't went shopping for food yet. So I went and got some nice steaks, portabellas and some corn, yadda yadda yadda. Went home and Cedarflame found me finishing up the assembly when she came by after work. So she helped finish the assembly and decided of course to do the honors of starting the Barbey.

Now you can see why she is called Cedarflame lol.

However once the flames died down we had a lovely barbecue. She says on a scale of one to ten it was an eight. That reminds me somewhere I have Hawaiian barbecue chips. yummm

Now I have been a busy girl and painted my bathroom on Thursday. Last night I put it all back together. Here are the before and after pictures.

I seem to have lots of energy. Today I had a great day, helped move some furniture around so that Cedarflame could put in her air conditioner, we went garage saleing, I washed my car, cleaned the car windows, cleaned the dashboard, washed the children's play house and climbing structure and put a comforter in the wash. Oh yeah and blogged.

whew makes me tired just to type it. lol not really. But I suppose a nice bath will be in order now just to top off a really nice and productive day.
