and.....even more snow.....

This has certainly been a strange weather year here in Seattle! All week it has been very very cold, and everyday the weather people would bring us STORM WEATHER WATCH!!!! (that is exactly how they say it....)

However the weather didn't really cooperate and so I grew tired of all the chatter about the BIG STORM, so when they once more mentioned the POSSIBILITY OF SNOW, I think I yawned and I am sure I said, "yeah, yeah yeah, un huh sure."

Well when I woke up this morning I pulled up the blinds to see a winter wonderland. It finally snowed. I was surprised as I didn't really beleive it would happen. So tonight they are once more saying MORE SNOW, again one to three inches overnight. Well we shall see.

The kids and I went out this morning to play in the snow. They were amused when I threw snowballs at the garage and house. (They are too little for me to throw snowballs at them). We (I) built a small snow man in the back yard. I heard kids playing out front so I talked them into going out into the front yard. They happily played with the riding toys (which didn't go anywhere do to the thick snow) while I started to build a BIG snow man. One of the kids did help me push the snowballs around the yard a little bit. The kids got cold before I did so I had to quickly finish mr. snowman and take them in.

This afternoon there was hardly any snow left in the yard and I had remembered that I wanted to blog each time it snowed. Mr. snowman is still standing so I gave him a jaunty hat and a muffler. Some eyes made out of coal, (no not really) his features are little round plastic toys I had around the house. He looks a little sad, I think he knows his time is limited. Later I want to go add a few more on his mouth to make him smile.

Help I'm....m...e....l...t...i...n....g...........
