I got two kitties, such sweeties. When we got the male cat his name was dukie. His sister's name is Chloie. First L, (who drove the cats to myhouse) told him what dukie means to a lot of people.
Then she asked him to tell her what he wanted to be called. He said "Harold". She laughed to her self about the name and had a hard time believeing a cat would want to be called Harold.
Later that night *I didn't know she had already asked* I asked the cat what he wanted to be called. He said "Harold" I too laughed and thought that he couldn't have really said Harold!
That night I said to my L, the cat said he wanted to be called "Harold". She said, "oh my god! that is what he told me too!" So he is harold. We went down and told him right away. It really helped calm him down.
His sister has just been spayed and is resting well. I am sure she will warm up once she feels better.
Mr. Harold playing with his favorite toy a bunch of gold ribbon.
Ms. Chloie watching her brother smooshing through the cat door. (I was tempted to call her Maude, (as in Harold and maude) but she gave me the cat death stare. So she will remain Chloie.)
Earlier this month I found out that I was losing a child from my day care this last month. His folks has gotten down to one bread winner and dad has decided to stay home with his little guy.
Then looking at my situation I realized that I am only making 6 bucks an hour per kid. Which really wasn't what the nanny share was about. I am working my bones to the nub with very little return.
So to make a long story short, there was a meeting called about something else and I decided to attend to ask for more money. Now I am losing another family who is unable to come up with the extra. I think it is fair considering that I was not even recieiving minium wage per employer.
Hopefully the search won't last past a month.
Happy news! My L. found an apartment about 10 min away from me. yah! We were driving 45 minutes twice a week or more to see each other.
