After looking at the prices of desktops and laptops I have decided to fix and upgrade my laptop. I ordered the dvd/cd drive and some more memory after looking at the dell support site and seeing how easy it should be. Notice I said should....it looks easy on paper er web diagram.
Loosen a few screws, unhook cover and pop things in and out. So I am going to do it. I have a friend who is willing to be my back up techie.
I will update when I actually get the stuff, get brave enough to try it and hopefully get back on line. If it doesn't work...well...I guess I will be looking for another computer or a repair shop.
