Thanksgiving

This is me after eating Thanksgiving dinner....or rather that is what I felt like! I was so stuffed that it took quite a while before I even wanted anything else! We sat on the couch in stuffed zombie mode.

However I wasn't so out of it that I couldn't do a thing. I actually have been working on a doll. It is called a reborn doll. Reborning a doll is taking a factory doll and painting it to look like a real baby or child. I have been doing it now for a few years and have actually sold some. Although most go to chairity fund raisers.

This doll was started a few weeks ago. I didn't work on it every day but would pick it up and work on it in the evening. I actually thought it was going to be a girl. But each of these babies take on their own individual personalities. More and more it felt like a he. So here he is little Chris. He is about 99 percent done...I am going to put eyelashes on him but they have to be ordered. I will probably change his clothes. The little white outfit is cute but I think he will cuter in something else.

Here is little Chris with his pacifier. It is magnetic and sticks to his lips.

Today I have been puttering around the house. I have cleaned some more doll parts and plan on making some more babies. I have been doing the wash and also working on a poetry video for a friend. Every once in a while I stop to have some of the left overs. Yum...but trust me I am not eating as much as I did yesterday!
