This year I am spending Christmas in Sunnyvale with my daughter and her partner. The weather here is nice although to them cold, to me like spring in Seattle. Here is a picture of the sky in Sunnyvale.
I lived near San Fran a few years ago and so saw my daughter frequently. She has the cutest little dog and that little dog remembered her Nana! LOL I am nana to a dog....She is a sweet little thing.
Wake me in time for Santa!
The tradition for my daughter's Christmas up here in California is that the Partner's family gathers together at one house to spend the night to wait for Santa. The other Grandma is here too and soon the bro and his partner will show up. We play games and hang out and generally have a lot of fun. Then we wake up early for presents. Here is a pic of my daughters tree this year.
My daughter is cooking a turkey and the trimmings for dinner tonight. Right now there is currently the smell of cookies cooking in the oven. mmmmmhhhhh.
