I am so amazed how fast time goes by. Here it is the middle of Feb. and this is my first blog of this month.
I am still experiencing a sinus problem. I noticed that my last blog was dated Jan. 27th and I am still battling with the whole sinus cold. It was wierd I seem to have gotten better that following weekend but by the first of that next week I was sicker than I was before. So I guess it is time to see a doctor about this congestion of mine. I would like to breathe better sometime soon.
I have a new avatar as I went in and got my hair cut and colored. It has been a while and I realized the old one just wasn't me anymore. I went in to get my old dry ends off and when they asked me about color I said yes! Spur of the moment as I had't planned on doing it.
I am quite pleased with the color as it is very close to my original auburn I had as a child. I like the hair cut too although I may grow it a little longer.
I am getting ready to do more dolls. I thought that I would show you what they look like before I start them. Some people get a little weirded out by the dolly parts laying around while I am in the process of making them. Both of these dolls happen to be sleeping dolls. The dolls that will have eyes placed in them are even more creepy sitting around with empty eye sockets.
I actually sold this doll on ebay this last week.

I tried selling the one in the blog before this one but she didn't go and I tried twice. So I will probably work on her some more and then maybe try again. I think that people on ebay are looking for very infant kind of dolls. Which the next two I make really are. Especially the one towards the back of the picture above.
I might look for a little specialty shop around the area too and try to do some doll selling on comission. Haven't had time to look into that yet.
It is beginning to become spring here in rainy Seattle. I think we are past that really awful weather we were having this winter. It actually was in the upper 50's yesterday! As I take the babies out walking everyday we are noticing signs of spring. The daffodils and crocus are budded and just waiting to spring open. There are other little spring flowers that are bloomed but I don't know what they are. Tiny little white ones. So Spring is in the air folks and coming our way.
