Yesterday it snowed in Seattle. The forecast had been for snow but I always take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes they make a big deal of a weather system and then it passes right on by.
So I went out to a craft fair in my neighborhood. I wasn't sure what kind of craft fair it would be. Sometimes a craft fair consists of little old ladies and their doilies. However this craft fair was pretty awesome. Two whole buildings of hand made crafts. As usual my pocket book didn't match the wish of buying all that appealed to me.
However I had been looking for a winter hat. I found a great jester's type fleece hat of red and black that I just couldn't resist! My friend said it was just perfect. I wore it directly after buying it and I got lots of comments about how cute it looked on me. I am going to sew bells on it as soon as I get a few extra minutes. (:
I am going to my first holiday dinner party this afternoon. It is with my employers. I am baked brownies (gluten free) earlier and the whole house smells like chocolate. I am bringing some veggies and soon will go down and prepare them.
I guess the holidays have commenced!
